2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to: facilitate ride matching, process payments, improve our services, send notifications about your rides, provide customer support, ensure safety (SOS features, trip sharing), and comply with legal requirements.
3. Data Sharing
We share limited information with: drivers (name, pickup location), payment processors (Razorpay/Stripe), law enforcement when required, and emergency services during SOS events. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Location Data
We collect precise location data only during active rides. Driver location is tracked every 3 seconds during rides for real-time tracking. You can disable background location access in your device settings.
5. Data Security
We use Firebase Authentication, encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure Firestore rules, and regular security audits. Your payment data is processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers.
6. Data Retention
Ride data is retained for 2 years for regulatory compliance. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion request. Payment records are retained as required by tax laws.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: access your data, request correction of inaccuracies, request deletion (subject to legal requirements), export your data, and opt-out of marketing communications.

Our website uses cookies and Firebase Analytics to improve user experience. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
9. Children's Privacy
Rydo is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us.
